'How do we portray this pretty damsel from Mumbai in a pure Kannadiga fashion' was the next hurdle that we had to find a solution to. Here was this pretty young thing, who's every film has been a hit in Sandalwood and yet we'd never seen her in atypical 'Kannada hudugi' traditional attire off-screen.
How is that even possible you ask? We were left aghast too! Just kidding! So, we picked up the phone and asked her, and Jennifer very sweetly smiled and told us that she'd never really worn a Kanjeevaram and that it was always something she wanted to do. Did we need any more clues? Nope!
So we hurried to the brand new Roopam Silks on Infantry Road, picked out something traditional in Kanjeevaram that also looked trendy enough, and matched Jennifer's personality got some friends from MAC to help us out with the make-up and her hair and hurried to the Leela Kempinski on Airport Road for a fun-filled evening shoot.
Planning for a Yugadi shoot has never been so much fun and preparing the traditional meets modernity shoot was trying but well worth the effort. We managed to get everything in place on time and what came out of it was the spectacular front page, which we're sure you liked.
We decided to also show you some cute moments from the shoot we thought you deserved to see. She was so cute, and we're sure you'll agree! Watch us as we transformed Jennifer from the Mumbai glam queen to the Pakkath Manu00e9 (Next door) traditional beauty and all the fun we had in the process...
