As per the latest inputs, the JEE Main Result 2016 will be announced tomorrow, April 27. Candidates can log on the official website of IIT - JEE main on jeemain.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in to check their results.
Keeping up its promise of bringing out the JEE Main 2016 Result on time, the Central Board of Secondary Education has confirmed 27 April 2016 as the declaration date. The news has come as a great relief of nearly 12 lakh engineering aspirants, who have appeared for the most popular engineering entrance test in the first half of April.

After the formal declaration by the CBSE on 27 April 2016, candidates will be able to log on the official websites i.e., cbseresults.nic.in cbse.nic.in, jeemain.nic.in and get their CBSE JEE Main Result 2016 quite easily. In addition to this, the board is also likely to rope in several third party result portals to provide information about JEE Main Result checking procedure and other details.
This year, the JEE Main 2016 exam was conducted in both online as well as offline format. The JEE Main offline test (pen and paper based) took place on April 3, while the online test (computer based) test for Paper 1 and Paper 2 was held on April 9 and April 10, 2016 respectively. Since the completion of JEE Main Exam, students have been patiently waiting for the declaration of JEE Main 2016 Results.
This year, the CBSE has taken into consideration the complaints of the anxious candidates, who suffer from technical problems and undue delay, while trying to access their JEE Main Result 2016 on result portals. The JEE Main 2016 Result is declared in two phases every year. In the first phase, JEE Main 2016 score for individual candidates will be issued by the board through its website. The JEE Main Score is determined on the basis of the official JEE Main 2016 Answer Keys released by the board earlier this month. On the basis of JEE Main 2016 score, around 02 lakh candidates will be shortlisted for the IIT-JEE Advanced 2016 Examination, scheduled to be held on 22 May 2016. After the completion of JEE Advanced Exam 2016, the CBSE will begin the process of announcing All India Rank for JEE Main 2016, which will mark the beginning of the second phase of JEE Main Admission Process. Tentatively, CBSE has declared 30 June 2016 as the probable date for the declaration of JEE Main 2016 Rank. Final admission to different engineering colleges will take place on the basis of JEE Main Rank, after through counselling process.
