Advocate warns photographers to keep off his client, caught with smuggled cameras worth Rs 70 lakh
A Chennai-based advocate threatened to throw acid on press photographers who dared to take his client's pictures.

Vijay Anand from Chennai was caught at Bangalore International Airport with 180 video and still cameras worth Rs 70 lakh, on his arrival from Kuala Lumpur.
While Anand was being brought to court, his advocate threatened the media of dire consequences if they photographed his client.

"I will smash your heads and get you people killed through rowdies if anyone takes his pictures," the advocate roared even as customs officials looked on in shock.
When lensmen ignored his threat andu00a0 clicked Anand's pictures, the enraged advocate started noting down the vehicle number, saying:u00a0 "Now, you just wait and watch. I will make your life miserable."
Ulsoorgate police, under whose jurisdiction the court falls, have promised to take action against the Chennai-based advocate if anyone filed a complaint.
Anand, meanwhile, was remanded to judicial custody.
