I was used for political gains, says Robert Vadra in Facebook post

Congress President Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra, who was recently issued a notice by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for his alleged involvement in a land scam in Bikaner, on Thursday, said he was being used for "political gains", and added adding that baseless accusations were levelled against him by "governments" for "almost a decade".

In a Facebook post he said, "Almost a decade of governments false and baseless accusations on me! They cannot prove anything without proof, and there is nothing there to prove.”

"I will always be used for political gains, I know ... But I will walk with my head held high, as in time and with the truth which will conquer incorrect perceptions, created about me," he added in the same post.

The Justice S.N. Dhingra Commission enquiry report into controversial land deals in Haryana is likely to be submitted soon.

The one-man Dhingra commission, set up by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Haryana in May 2015, is probing controversial land deals in Haryana, including Vadra's land deals.
