This luscious suicide bomber wants to become the President of India!

Actress Tulip Joshi, who played a suicide bomber in the critically acclaimed Mahesh Bhatt film Dhokha, wants to contribute towards "nation-building" and has her eyes set firmly on the highest seat in the country.

"I want to be the President of India," said the actress at the Indira Gandhi International Airport before taking a flight to Chandigarh. "I want to change the country. It really needs someone like me," Joshi added sincerely.

Does it mean the actress is ready to give up her Bollywood stake, whatever little of it, and join politics? "I am too young right now. To be the President, you have to be at least 35 years of age. Till then, I will contribute in whatever way I can," she explained.

And before you start doubting her sincerity, Joshi already has a plan of action ready. "I will beautify the country, make better provisions for senior citizens and actively contribute in improving the nation. I will also give our armed forces better pay and advanced equipment," the concerned citizen added.

Does her concern for the armed forces mean Tulip the President would support a war with Pakistan? "No, no. Not in any way. That decision I will leave for the Prime Minister to take. He must also be given some work," she said with a cheeky smile.

While there may not be much in common between President Pratibha Patil and Joshi, it was the former who inspired the actress to dream this big. "With Pratibha Patil taking charge, I realised even I could be President one day. I will carry the tradition forward," Joshi said.

While she waits for her political initiation, this national basketball player is hopping across cities to promote her Punjabi movie Jag Jeondeyan de Mele. And when her time comes, we can hope Republic Day parades will draw more eyeballs!
