Jaipur: The flood situation has improved after rainfall declined during the past two days.


However, several villages between Abu Road and Ambaji still are still cut off from other parts of the state.


Meanwhile, the death toll due to heavy rainfall in Gujarat has risen to 53.


According to reports, 28 deaths have occurred in the worst-affected Banaskantha district.

The NDRF had earlier mobilized 21 search and rescue teams to the flood affected areas to assist the respective state administration in rescue and relief works.
