Panaji: Two people received minor injuries after the false ceiling in the security hold area at Goa's Dabolim airport's domestic terminus caved in on Saturday.

An enquiry had been ordered and repairs are underway, Goa airport director KS Rao said.

"Part of the false ceiling in the domestic security hold collapsed. Two passengers received minor injuries. They were administered first aid and they are on their way to their respective destinations," Rao said.

The integrated terminus, which caters to both domestic and international tourists at Dabolim airport, was built at a cost of Rs.345 crore and was formally commissioned in 2014.
