Naval Kishore, 37, had more than 15 criminal cases registered against him. However, Naval's three accomplices managed to escape.
The officials of the two companies had informed the cops about extortion threats from Naval and his gang.
The cops traced the calls and laid a net at the point where money was to be delivered. A shootout ensued when cops tried to nab the gang.

A resident of Jharkhand, Naval had served a sentence in a similar case at the Dasna Jail, Ghaziabad.
