"Gujarat's actual development and status is far below than what was being highlighted. Uttar Pradesh's development model is better," Yadav said while addressing a rally at Dadri here.
"We plan policies keeping in mind all classes of people," he said. Claiming that only Samajwai Party had the power to stop the "so called Modi wave", Yadav said, "after elections, third front will form the government.
Only SP can check the communal forces." "Modi wave is an illusion created by his marketing wing," he said.
He also blamed the BJP Prime Ministerial candidate for riots in Gujarat. Attacking Congress, Yadav said it was responsible for rising prices and various scams.
