The girl in the photos is an MBA student, scandalised policemen discover
A police inspector got a shock when he checked his official email on Friday.
C Balakrishna, inspector at Kothanur, was greeted with 27 nude photos of a girl. The email had no text.u00a0
He filed a complaint at his own station.
The email was sent from bangalore.plz.justify@gmail.com to an ID used for internal communication by the police.
"I was scandalised to find stuff like this in the inbox," he said.
During investigation, police found that the girl in the photos was an MBA student from a reputed college in Bangalore.
She had recently dumped her boyfriend who sent out her photos to random IDs out of spite. C Balakrishna was one such receiver.
"We believe we are on the verge of cracking the case. The boy lives in north India, and is believed to take drugs. We have sent some officers to arrest him," said deputy commissioner of police (north-east) Basavaraj Malgatti.
Balakrishna has taken up a case under the Information Technology Act 2000.
