Deccan Queen claims one life

Shyamlal Bin, a resident of Uttar Pradesh was crushed under the Deccan Queen near Khadki yesterday.

The incident took place at 8.25 pm. Shyamlal's brother dropped him off at the station. However, half an hour later he heard his brother's screams coming from the railway tracks.

As he approached the tracks, he saw his brother crushed under the train, which just passed by.

Nearby labourers shifted Shyamlal to Sancheti hospital but he was declared dead on arrival.

His body was shifted to Sassoon hospital at 12 am for the post-mortem examination.
