More than Rs 10 crore has been spent by the PMPML to install 1,000 such bus sheds in the city and the cost of setting up one bus shed is Rs 3 lakh.

“Commuters are inconvenienced while standing under the sheds as it is small in size. Pedestrians cannot walk through as they have been installed on the footpaths,”  said PMP Pravasi Manch president Jugal Rathi.

Prashant Jagtap, PMPML chairman said, “I have received complaints regarding the new bus sheds and will look into the matter. We will try to make modifications in the new sheds and we will work on improving its overall structure.”
