Hard drinks, beer and wine are selling like hot-cakes. Cricket fans have already started stocking up alcohol bottle.Vijay Kutty, president of Pune District Wine Trader's Associations said: "Looking at yesterday's business we are expecting a surge in sales by about 40 per cent as compared to sales on other days. Customers have already stocked up on beer and hard drinks as no one will move out to get alcohol during the match."
Beer and wine brand, night's clubs and restaurants are offering exciting offers to lure the customers.

Offers galore
"There is buy one get one free offer and various offers being given by the companies," Kutty said. Ashok Mulchandani of K M Wine & Beer Shoppe who also does home delivery said, "I have hired two extra people for today. I have already received calls from my regular clients who want bottles to be delivered at their residence. So we had to spend extra for the helpers."

Busy day

A manager working with a popular wine shop in Chinchwad said: "It's going to be a profitable day for us. Though we have received regular crowd today tomorrow will be busy. We have got television sets in the shop. During the match it's going to be empty and it's only during breaks that people will get out of their homes."
