Results for the Chartered Accountancy examination were declared on Sunday. Of total 4246 candidates who appeared for the examination 2440 passed the tests recording passing percentage of 5.75%

Of total 4246 candidates who appeared for the examination 2440 passed the tests recording passing percentage of 5.75%.

Top three rankers in the merit list of the much difficult test are from Chennai, Tirupati and Kolkata. James John Britto from Chennai ranked first with score if 74.38% whereas Nagole Mohan Kumar from Tirupati and Avinash Sancheti from Kolkata ranked second and third with score of 71.50% and 70.75% respectively.

Total 77442 candidates appeared for group I of which 9764 passed. For group II 75, 774 candidates appeared of which 9084 passed the examination.
