Businessman accuses Ayesha Siddiqui of fraud

Claims to have been 'conned' by her in a manner similar to Shoaib, Jeddah school, where she taught for 12 years, says she was always known as Maha Siddiqui

With all decks cleared for the Sania Mirza-Shoaib Malik wedding reception in Hyderabad today, a Chicago-based Indian businessman, Feroze Jalal, claimed to have been 'conned' by Ayesha Siddiqui in the same way she 'framed' Shoaib Malik.

Now, the vice principal and director (operations), Nidal Khan, of Ayesha's ex-employer, Hala International Schoolu00a0 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, says she was never known as Ayesha there.

Ayesha who?

The school's headmistress Shehnaz Khot said, "Ayesha was never known by that name in our school. She was Maha Siddiqui to all of us. She worked in this school for 12 years (1992-2004). She went back to India (without resigning) and never returned. During her association with the school, she was very popular among pupils as a teacher and rose to the post of vice principal."

Khot said that the school thought Maha returned to India without resigningu00a0 because "she may have been getting married. We also heard that her father's service here (with an airline) was coming to an end and therefore the Siddiqui family didn't return to this country."

"Maha was very fond of travelling abroad. She travelled to the USA, Canada and UAE during her vacations. She was not a slim girl (as Shoaib Malik claimed during the divorce controversy) but a little plump," she added.
