Indian football captain Bhaichung Bhutia has donated Rs 1.20 lakh and raised another Rs 60,000 by auctioning three of his jerseys and 10 autographed footballs for cyclone victims in Darjeeling hills.

The soccer star auctioned three jerseys, including the one he wore during the Asian Football Championship 2008 and Nehru Cup in 2007, alongwith some autographed footballs, they said. Bhutia, who had recently won a dance competition, was accompanied by his choreographer Sonia and enthralled the audience by dancing a few steps.
He also assured to donate Rs 30,000 to his fan club in Darjeeling to organise a football tournament in the hills.
