Ayesha has ditched the good ol' black for a colour riot. What's commendable, however, is that she's created the rainbow herself. Better known as Michelle of Bhansali's Black, the now 15-year-old has turned accessory designer, and her fun stuff's up for grabs in the capital. If you're wondering what style sense she has, the lovely li'l lass has walked the ramp internationally, aside models from France, Ethiopia, Germany and Italy. Not testimony enough? The funky sets speak for themselves, and Ayesha adds a bit.

So you think Barbie's a sl**.

Well, as a young girl, I never really liked Barbie. What's with the stupid plastic doll? I've always believed it's something really dumb. While I was growing up, I loved hanging out with my older brother Milan, and never played with the bimbo-like toy. This apart, the statement reflects my style cool, bold, smart, intelligent and very stylish. This kind of a bag is sure to attract attention.

Acting to styling. Why in the world?
I have always been interested in fashion. It's something that's very close to my heart. I decided to do something which will interest me, and since my parents own a design store (Hidesign), I became more and more involved, and well, here I am.

Who's helping you with your young enterprise?
The designs are all about my individualistic style, without any major inspirations. However, mum and I love to research fashion, and yeah, I do watch the world around me, as in my friends and all. It's not what mamma wears, though. The collection is pretty much what I would love to flaunt myself.

And what's that?
There are bags and jewellery, but of course, not the kind you can pick from your usual store. The stuff's done in wood, shell and other unusual media. There are necklaces, anklets, earrings, bracelets and more. I actually sat down with the entire team, and designed the products myself. It's all about a young girl's world, her dreams and her loves.

What's your personal style like?
It changes every moment. I might wear red, then blue, and so on. I might like to wear a skirt today, jeans tomorrow. For a teenager, fashion is never stable.
