Limited luxury
Originally created by Silvia Venturini Fendi in 1997, the small, soft-bag, carried under the arm just like a French stick, is available in limited editions, 12, to be precise. The Italian fashion giant has collaborated with the reputed Lisio Foundation to produce this in hand-woven silk, brocades and velvets of the Italian Renaissance. Some of the patterns are so complex that no more than four centimetres a day can be weaved.
The three sub-styles include 'Heavenly Spring', 'Schonbrunn Souls', and 'The Wall', which are about natural blooms, fantasy-ful flights and oriental opulence, respectively. They might cost the heaven, but make you look no less!
