Tonight, 14 choirs will join in one voice to sing Christmas carols in Polish, Spanish, Hindi and Tamil
Bring some Christmas spirit to your weekend with The Festival of Festive Music. The Stop-Gaps Cultural Academy chose 14 choirs from Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune for the Christmas carol performance after a thorough selection process, supervised by Alfred D'Souza, festival director and chairman of the academy.

The line-up includes Victory Chorus Line, Santacruz Ensemble, Muktangan Children's Choir, Advent Chorus (Bengaluru), Chariots (Pune), Bel Canto (Pune), Stop-Gaps Junior Chorale Ensemble and Stop-Gaps Choral Ensemble. English isn't the only language they will sing in ufffd the choirs will sing carols in Polish, Spanish, Latin, Hindi and Tamil.
The night will be a feast of traditional and contemporaryu00a0 carols performed by each choir in a delightful festive setting, with an overture by the inimitable Leon deSouza, peppy compering by Karla Singh and Shahariyar Atai and the grand finale by D'Souza.
The Festival of Festive Music is now in its 27th year, the theme being "the Santa in us".
"The Stop-Gaps choirs have been practising since August. Each choir is a gift to the audience and we hope they enjoy it," says D'Souza.
