The victims are in the hospital in serious condition after the accident in Hadapsar in which the driver of a bus suffered a severe cardiac arrest, and the vehicle rammed into an auto rickshaw on the same side of the road
Four persons were seriously injured in an accident that took place at Sasanenagar in Hadapsar after the driver of a bus suffered a severe heart attack and lost control, ramming into an autorickshaw.

The incident took place near Ganga Niwas complex at 6.30 am on Thursday. The bus driver, identified as Mohammad Sharif Shaikh (50), a resident of Laxminagar, Nana Peth, died on the spot. The persons injured in the accident have been identified as Anis Manzoor (35) of Hadapsar, Bhausaheb Bhosale (50), Abhishek Anil Naik (16), both residents of Mohammadwadi Road and Shabir Shaikh (71) of Sayednagar, Hadapsar.
Noormohammad Deshmukh (45) from Hadapsar has filed a complaint in this regard with the Hadapsar police station.u00a0Assistant Police Inspector VG Patil from Hadapsar traffic division said, “The bus and auto were both going in the same direction. The bus driver died at the wheel after a severe heart attack. Due to this, the bus rammed into the auto, being driven by Manzoor. Passengers in the auto were seriously injured and taken to nearby private hospitals for treatment.”
Anil Naik, father of injured Abhishek, said, “Abhishek was going to college. He is in the first year of his civil engineering course at Bharti Vidyapeeth College. He has been admitted to the ICU as his condition is serious. He has received severe injuries to his left leg and stomach.”
A similar incident occurred on Tilak Road on July 21 at around 8 pm when a PMPML bus driver Ravindra Sandbhor fell unconscious and lost control of his vehicle headed to Medipoint from Swargate. The bus conductor Meghraj Dhende kept his cool and rushed to the driver’s cabin. Dhende steered the bus safely to the roadside and had saved many lives.u00a0
