A relaxation technique is a given even if you believe that you're already on the road to good health. There's the Art of Living made famous by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. "I had high blood pressure for three years.

After I did Art of Living Part I everything became normal. I became very calm. It helped me as a teacher because as a teacher you need a lot of patience," says Sreekumar GV, associate professor, Industrial Design Centre at IIT Mumbai, who has been practising Art of Living for nine years now.

Reshma Jain, managing editor, Marwar magazine, who has tried and tested a range of relaxation therapies suggests Ta'i Chi, the Chinese alternative fitness therapy to calm the mind, but says one of the easiest relaxation methods is a one-hour time out.

What's good for one doesn't work for another. Aarti Modi, 24, a hair stylist by profession, checked out Osho recently. Modi took a two-day course and came back feeling disillusioned.

"What I was doing dancing with random strangers? I could have done that here in Mumbai with my buddies," she says. Reshma, on the other hand, believes that whirling (also a part of Osho) is a great way to relax. The options are endless the keyu00a0 to find the right one lies in the gut.
