Western Railway trains to be affected on Jan 3 due to block on Dungri – Valsad and Billimora – Dungri

In order to carry out the work of strengthening of bridge approaches of bridge number 339 and 358 in Dungri – Valsad and Billimora – Dungri sections, a block will be undertaken, the WR said

Some Western Railway (WR) trains would be affected on January 3 due to a block of five hours that will be undertaken on Tuesday from 12.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs, the WR said in a press release. 


It said, in order to carry out the work of strengthening of bridge approaches of bridge number 339 and 358 in Dungri – Valsad and Billimora – Dungri sections respectively. Due to the execution of this work, few long distance trains of WR will be affected.


According to a press release issued by Sumit Thakur, the CPRO of WR, the details of these trains are- 


Regulation of Trains

1.      Train No.  22195 Virangana Lakshmibai (Jhansi) - Bandra Terminus Superfast Express, JCO 02.01.2023 will be regulated by 2 hrs.

2.      Train No. 19202 Porbandar – Secunderabad Express, JCO 03.01.2023 will be regulated by 2 hrs.

3.      Train No. 12936 Surat – Bandra Terminus Intercity Express, JCO 03.01.2023 will be regulated by 30 mins.

Short Termination of Train

1.      Train No. 19016 Porbandar- Dadar Saurashtra Express, JCO of 02.01.2023 will be short terminated at Navsari
