The Bangur Nagar police have arrested two persons for raping and blackmailing a 13-year-old girl for two months, by making an obscene video. The girl narrated the ordeal to her parents after being fed up of the sexual abuse, who then approached the police and registered a complaint. The accused are aged between 21 to 23 years and reside in the same area as the survivor.

According to the police officers, the incident occurred when the minor returned back from school. The accused persons called her to their home under the pretext of some work. Both the accused then stripped her forcefully and shot a video on their mobile phones. The accused threatened to share the videos with her friends and parents.
Later, they called the minor again and gang-raped her repeatedly in the past two months. After being raped again two days ago, the survivor narrated the incident to her parents. Within hours of the case being registered the accused were arrested under POCSO Act.
