Mumbai Traffic Police on Tuesday said that the traffic movement is likely to be affected in Dadar area of the city due to 'Grand Dhamma Walk' on February 15.

On February 15, a Grand Dhamma Walk has been organised from Parbhani to Chaitybhoomi in Dadar and a large number of people are expected to attend the event. The traffic police said vehicular congestion is expected on routes of Grand Dhamma Walk.
A notification issued by Gaurav Singh, DCP Traffic, Mumbai, said, in order to streamline traffic and to avoid inconvenience to general public, traffic regulation and control on roads in the jurisdiction of Dadar Traffic Division will be made on February 15.
Routes of Grand Dhamma Walk
The Dhamma Walk will enter in Dadar Traffic Division through Tilak Bridge and will proceed through Kotwal Garden Circle- N.C. Kelkar Road South Bound- Paneri Junction-right turn- Ranade Road- Senapati Bapat Statue- Chaitybhoomi Junction - Chaityabhoomi.

The notification said, as per the movement of the Grand Dhamma Walk, the traffic movement will be regulated and controlled on the following roads:
1- N.C. Kelkar road from Kotwal Garden to Paneri Junction.
2- Ranade Road from Paneri Junction to Chaityabhoomi junction.
3- Gokhale Road at Still Man junction.
4- Swantantra Veer Savarkar Road at Chaitya Bhoomi Junction.
Alternate Routes for vehicular traffic during Grand Dhamma Walk
1- Vehicular Traffic from South Mumbai towards West or East suburbs may take right turn at Kashinath Ghanekar junction- proceed through Sayani Road- Leningrad Chowk- Manohar Phalke Chowk- Elphinstone junction-left turn-Senapati Bapat road towards Mahim or through Elphinstone railway bridge towards Dr. B.A. Road.
2- Vehicular traffic from Mahim towards south Mumbai through L.J Road or S.V.S Road may take left turn at Yes Bank junction-Pandurang Naik Road-Rajabade Junction-Bal Govind Das Road-Senapati Bapat Road towards South Mumbai.
3- Vehicular traffic from East Suburbs through Tilak Bridge towards South Mumbai may used Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road- Elphinstone Bridge- towards South Mumbai.
