A private mini-school bus carrying students of Ambernath's Rotary school overturned at the Green City complex around 6.50 am on Monday. 


The incident took place after the driver tried to reverse the bus on the ramp in front of the Riverwood building. The driver lost control and the bus overturned.


Two students suffered minor injuries, while the other students were not injured. After the incident, the police detained the bus driver and the process of filing a case has been started.

Meanwhile, the Rotary School Management has clarified that this bus does not belong to the school and the school has no connection with the bus. The school management has clarified that this bus is private and parents send students to school by this bus according to their convenience.

On the other hand, the local residents have expressed their anger against the bus owner. The bus was not insured and the condition of the bus was very dilapidated.
