“The general list for Std XI/FYJC online admission process for the academic year 2024-25 was displayed on June 18, 2024, morning. Students who have completed and locked Part 2 of their admission form by June 15, 2024, are expected to log in to mumbai.11thadmission.org.in to check their admission status,” said an official notification issued on Tuesday evening.
“Provisional merit lists are available in students’ login. Students can check their merit number and other details. If any discrepancies are found, students can raise their grievances using the grievance module. Students can log in and register their grievances online from June 18 to June 21,” said officials from the Deputy Director of School Education - Mumbai office. According to the released data, the number of junior colleges has increased from 1,017 to 1,045 across Mumbai and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), with the total number of seats rising to 3,99,235 from 3,75,000 last year. Of these, 1,51,735 are quota seats. The Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for junior colleges will be conducted entirely online.
All aspirants seeking admission to Std XI in MMR colleges had to register on https://mumbai.11thadmission.org.in and create their unique login ID. Part I of the registration form, part of the pre-registration process, began last week. Starting June 5, students could submit Part II, which includes their college selections.
The official further said, “The other CAP rounds will follow after the completion of the first round. Students should remember that if a student is allotted a seat in their first preferred college, it is mandatory for the candidate to confirm the admission. If not done, he/she will not be considered for the next round.”
As per the schedule released by the DYDE-Mumbai office, the first merit list (with cut-off) will be released on June 25.
