The Mumbai Crime Branch has apprehended the sixth suspect involved in the shooting incident at Salman Khan’s residence. Identified as Harpal Singh, also known as Harry, aged 33, he was captured in Fatehabad, located at the border of Haryana and Punjab. Singh was presented before the court and has been granted police custody until May 22, a total of nine days.

Authorities state that Singh holds a significant position within the gang and maintains direct communication with Anmol Bishnoi. investigation reveals that Singh forwarded the video footage, recorded by other suspects during their reconnaissance of Salman’s residence, to Anmol.
“Investigation revealed that Mohammed Rafiq Chaudhary had shot the video of Salman Khan’s house. As he was not using Telegram, he shared the video with Harpal Singh, who then sent the video on Telegram to Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi,” said a police officer.
Anmol posted the video, shot by Chaudhary and sent by Singh, on social media shortly after the shooting, alleging it was orchestrated by the Bishnoi gang. Police stated that Chaudhary, one of the arrested suspects, disclosed four names, leading to the arrest of Harpal Singh, while investigations continue in three other locations.The investigation also revealed that the accused Harpal had given R5 lakh to Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary.
“During the investigation, it was discovered that Chaudhary received a payment of R5 lakh from Singh after a call made to Haryana. Subsequently, Chaudhary transferred this money to shooters Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. Following the revelation of Harpal’s involvement in Chaudhary’s investigation, Harpal was apprehended in Haryana,” said a police officer.
The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested six people including Singh and Chaudhary. One of the arrested accused, Anuj Thapan committed suicide in a police lockup, which is being investigated by the CID.
