Nationalist Congress Party Minister Nawab Malik on Wednesday shared a ‘Nikah Nama’ of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal director Sameer Wankhede with 'first wife' Dr. Shabana Quraishi on Twitter, questioning the officer’s caste certificate under Scheduled Caste (SC) category, under which he secured an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) posting.

Malik alleged that Wankhede was born Muslim and was married to a Muslim woman. He further raised questions over the NCB officer’s caste certificate under SC to secure an IRS posting under that category.
