When they left former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s side, some MLAs had complained about the lack of development work in his reign. However, now these MLAs of Eknath Shinde’s party are expressing their displeasure over the functioning of officials that is stalling development work. After Minister Abdul Sattar, Dilip Lande, MLA of Chandivli, boycotted the district development committee meeting on Tuesday citing this.

According to media reports, recently, Minister for Agriculture Sattar reprimanded the Chief Minister's private secretary as he did not get funds for development work. On Tuesday Lande expressed his displeasure over the state government. While talking to the media, Lande said, “Officials are giving wrong information to the concerned minister. They are not doing work recommended by representatives. I had suggested that officials put a name board on government lands. But this suggestion has not yet been implemented. We don’t come here for tea and biscuits. My suggestion was not implemented before and now also. There is no point in attending this meeting.”

When they came to power they said an efficient government which will not put work on hold is in place. Now their MLAs are unhappy with officials. Why are things not being done now? They are saying that the suggestion of MLAs is not implemented. So what is this efficient government doing? What will they do now? Will they look for another option which will work?"
