Popular television actress Pooja Yadav, renowned for her roles in various daily soap television serials, including "Saavdhan India," "Ye Jadoo Hai Jinn Ka," and "Black Coffee," has taken legal action against the driver of a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) garbage collection vehicle. The incident involves an alleged hit-and-run on a street dog, which was captured on CCTV cameras in Khar West. Yadav, an animal lover who also operates an NGO called "World of Whiskers," has registered an FIR against the driver.

The CCTV footage, dated August 29 at 3:30 am, documents the incident occurring near Cristal Shopper Paradise, Off Link Road, at the junction of 24 Road and 34 Road in Khar West. Yadav, distressed by the incident, has reported that the dog has been missing since the incident took place.

Speaking to midday.com, Yadav said, "On September 2, I received a call from the locals informing about a missing dog. Upon checking the CCTV footage of the area, we discovered that BMC's garbage collection vehicle had run over the dog, causing serious injuries and leaving it handicapped. The dog has been missing since then, as seen in the CCTV footage."
