Mumbai: Malad man discovers human finger in his ice cream

While eating the ice cream, the Malad man discovered a centimetre-long fragment of a human finger complete with nails.

A disturbing event occurred in Malad, where a person found a human finger in his ice cream.

The complainant, a student from Malad's Orlem area, ordered ice cream on a popular delivery app last night. The delivery executive brought an ice cream from a chain brand. However, while eating the frozen dessert, the student discovered a centimetre-long fragment of a human finger complete with nails.

The incident was reported to Malad police, who rushed to the scene, seized the nail fragment, and filed a case against Yummo Ice Cream Company under sections 272, 273, and 336 of the Indian Penal Code, according to Senior Inspector Ravindra Adhane of the Malad Police Station. An investigation is currently ongoing, he said.
