The trends showed that the battle for Mumbai North constituency was much like the previous years with the Bharatiya Janata Party leading with a huge margin and eventually clinching the seat.

Even as vote counting for Mumbai Lok Sabha Election Results 2024 is underway, the data from Election Commission showed that Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who is contesting Lok Sabha Elections 2024, for the first time has swept the public towards him. Goyal, as per the latest data, was leading by 2, 55, 430 votes.

Meanwhile, per the Mumbai Lok Sabha Election Results 2024 data, his opponent--Congress leader Bhushan Patil--had thus far garnered 2, 42, 778 votes.

The Mumbai Congress vice-president, Patil is a relative newcomer to electoral politics and has previously contested Assembly elections from Borivali.

Reportedly, the party had approached Vinod Ghosalkar before naming Patil but he had declined their offer. Many speculated that the seasoned leader declined the offer as he is still grappling with untimely demise of his son.
