Mumbai local train updates: Western Railway to run 8 special services on New Year Eve

WR in a tweet said, among the eight special services, 4 would be in down direction, from Churchgate to Virar and 4 in up direction, from Virar to Churchgate

The Western Railway (WR) will run as many as eight special local train services on the new year eve, the WR said in a statement.

It said, "for the benefit of commuters on the occasion of new year, the WR will run 8 special local train services during midnight of December 31, 2022 and January 1, 2023."

The WR in a tweet said, among the eight special services, 4 would be in down direction, from Churchgate to Virar and 4 in up direction, from Virar to Churchgate.

The WR also shared a complete list of the services on Twitter.

Earlier, the Central Railway (CR) had also on Wednesday said that it will run special suburban services on new year eve on December 31 and January 1 midnight for the benefit of passengers.

The CR also shared a list of the services that will be running on the new year eve.

Special train will depart Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 01.30 hrs and arrive Kalyan at 03.00 hrs.
