Mumbai: India Post offers affordable national flags to promote 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign

Amitabh Singh, Postmaster General of India Post, Mumbai Region, stated that national flags are now available for purchase at Post Offices throughout the state of Maharashtra

Mumbai: India Post offers affordable national flags to promote 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign

The flags can also be purchased online through the website www.epostoffice.gov.in.

India Post, Maharashtra circle, is offering national flags to the general public for as low as Rs 25 as part of the promotion of the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2023.


The flags can also be purchased online through the website www.epostoffice.gov.in. The dimensions of the National flag are 20 inches x 30 inches (without the flagpole).


"The Government of India has launched the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2023 as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, encouraging citizens to bring the 'tiranga' (tricolor flag) into their homes and participate in this significant campaign by flying the National Flag from their residences. The campaign not only symbolizes the emotional connection of every Indian with the national flag but also embodies a commitment towards nation-building. India Post, Maharashtra Circle, is actively participating in the campaign as it has been entrusted with the responsibility of making national flags available to citizens at a reasonable price of Rs. 25," said Chief Postmaster General, K.K. Sharma.


Amitabh Singh, Postmaster General of India Post, Mumbai Region, stated that these national flags are now available for purchase at Post Offices throughout the state of Maharashtra, including the city of Mumbai and its suburbs. "To raise awareness about this patriotic initiative, India Post has made flags available even at Housing Societies, Railway stations, and schools. Prabhat Pheris (morning processions) are being organized to promote awareness among the citizens. Additionally, various renowned personalities have shown enthusiasm and obtained National Flags to display at their homes. Officers of India Post have been distributing the National Flags in every corner of Mumbai city and its suburbs to foster a sense of patriotism and celebrate the spirit of independence," he said.
