Mumbai: Central Railway to add 40 special trains for Ganpati festival; see details

Earlier, the Central Railway had informed that it will run 72 special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT)/ Panvel and Sawantwadi Road/Ratnagiri

Central Railway will run 40 additional Ganpati festival specials to cater to the extra rush of passengers towards the Konkan area. This is in addition to 72 festival specials already announced.

Mumbai-Sawantwadi Road special (2 services)

01235 special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 13.10 hrs on 7.9.2021 and arrive at Sawantwadi Road at 02.00 hrs the next day.

01236 special will leave Sawantwadi Road at 02.30 hrs on 10.9.2021 and arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 14.00 hrs the same day.
