Mumbai: 13-year-old girl dies by suicide on railway track, Kurla GRP registers ADR

The Kurla GRP has registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) after a 13-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide on railway tracks in Mulund.


According to the police, the incident took place on the evening of October 6, when the girl was allegedly hit by a train. The GRP informed the family about her death.


The police checked the CCTV footage and revealed that she had committed suicide. Later, the body was sent for post-mortem. The post-mortem reports revealed that the girl died because of multiple injuries.


According to the police, the girl is a resident of MHADA colony, Mulund (West). She lived with her parents.

"An ADR has been registered in his matter. So far we have not discovered any suicide note and the reason behind the girl taking such an extreme step still remains unclear. We are probing this matter," said a police officer.
