A 28-year-old Navi Mumbai man was crushed to death by a truck driver in the Uran area, police said on Wednesday, reported news agency PTI.

The victim, Moin Ahmed Abdul Jabbar, and the accused, Vikas Kamlesh Singh (31), worked as drivers in the same transport company, said the police, reported PTI.
A Uran Police Station official said Jabbar was leaning in front of a truck, noting down its registration number, when Singh started the truck and accidentally crushed him, reported PTI.
The Navi Mumbai man was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, said the official, reported PTI.
In another incident, three persons, including two women, were killed after the two-wheeler they were going on collided with a dumper coming from the opposite direction on a bridge at Parel in central Mumbai on Tuesday morning, police said, reported PTI.
The accident took place at 6.15 am, when the trio - aged between 22 and 25 years - was going towards south Mumbai, an official said.
"The two-wheeler rider lost control over the vehicle, due to which it jumped the divider and collided with a dumper coming from the opposite direction," he said, reported PTI.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they were declared dead, he said.
"All the deceased were college friends and one of them worked in a call centre at Sakinaka," he said, reported PTI.
A case of accidental death was registered at the Bhoiwada police Station, he said.
Police suspect that the sleepiness experienced by the two-wheeler rider could have led to the accident, he said, adding that a probe into the case was on, reported PTI.
Two of the deceased were identified as Tanish Patange (24) and Renuka Tamrakar (25), the police said, reported PTI.
Meanwhile, six people died after an autorickshaw fell into a nullah in eastern Maharashtra's Yavatmal district on Tuesday morning, police said. The accident took place around 11 am.
Inspector Rajesh Rathod of Pusad (Rural) police station said around 15 people from the family of Ganesh Rathod, resident of Jawahar Nagar in Pusad, 260 km from Nagpur, were heading for Umri Pohara Devi in the vehicle, reported PTI.
