The delegation from Mexico was led by the esteemed Governor of Nuevo Leon, Samuel Alejandro Garcia Sepulveda. Accompanying him were the Minister of Economy, Iván Rivas, Mexican Consul General Adolfo Garcia Estrada, and other distinguished members.
Fadnavis, in an announcement via Twitter, conveyed his enthusiasm for the productive meeting. He termed it the inception of a robust and novel partnership between Maharashtra and Nuevo Leon, underscoring the Prime Minister's appreciation for state-to-state relations across nations. Fadnavis tweeted, "Our Hon PM Narendra Modi ji appreciates State to State relationships between different countries. Your visit will mark the beginning of new, stronger bonds between Maharashtra and Nuevo Leon."

The Deputy CM also revealed that both the Maharashtra and Nuevo Leon administrations would exchange insights into their respective achievements. This endeavor aims to empower businesses and amplify trade relations, ultimately catalyzing industrial advancement in both regions. Governor Garcia of Mexico echoed this sentiment in his own tweet, endorsing the burgeoning partnership and emphasizing its potential to invigorate the economies of both states and nations. His message read, "Thank you for your warm welcome in Maharashtra. There's no doubt, we've built a new relationship that will benefit both, our states and countries, and will keep boosting them economically to the next level."
In a prior announcement, the Mexican leader shared an exciting development, stating, "TATA GROUP IS GOING TO EXPAND IN NUEVO LEÓN. This is one of the oldest business teams in the world, the largest in India and a Top 10 company globally."
