Traffic in parts of south Mumbai will be diverted for the upcoming Kala Ghoda Festival 2024. The Mumbai Traffic Police have issued a list of traffic restrictions and alternate routes to avoid traffic snarls in parts of south Mumbai.

The traffic notification, issued by the Mumbai Traffic Police said, in view of the Kala Ghoda Festival 2024 at K. Dubhash Marg from 20th January 2024 to 28th January, 2024 huge crowd will visit at the venue and in order to avoid inconvenience to public the some changes have been made in present traffic pattern at below mentioned place.
No Entry: K. Dubhash Marg
K. Dubhash Marg from the Junction of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Junction (Kala Ghoda) starting from Rythm House to the Junction of Shahid Bhagat Singh Road (Lion Gate) shall be closed for all type of vehicular traffic, except all emergency vehicles, from 19/01/2024 at 24:00 hrs, onwards to 28/01/2024 at 22:00 hrs.
Alternate Route
Vehicles coming from Hutatma Chowk (South Bound) and moving towards Lion Gate via K. Dubhash Marg shall proceed straight towards Jehangir Art Gallery - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya - Left Turn from Regal Junction and proceed further for their journey via Shahid Bhagat Singh Road.
The traffic notification was issued by Pradnya Jedge, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), Traffic, Mumbai Police.
It said, "In order to prevent danger, obstructions and inconvenience to the public the order was being issued."
