Full emergency declared for flight coming from Nagpur, lands safely in Mumbai

Two crew members, one patient, a relative, and a doctor were on-board, said sources.

Full emergency declared for flight coming from Nagpur, lands safely in Mumbai

The flight landed safely at Mumbai airport on Thursday.

A full emergency was declared for a non-scheduled Beechcraft VT-JIL aircraft on way from Nagpur to Mumbai. The plane landed safely at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) around 9 pm.


Full emergency is declared when an aircraft approaches an aerodrome in a manner that there is a danger of an accident occurring.



Two crew members, one patient, a relative, and a doctor were on-board, said sources.

The airport’s emergency response team including the fire and rescue responders, follow-me vehicles, CISF, medical team, amongst others, rushed as the plane landed and helped in safe evacuation of passengers, added sources.
