Twitterati take to the social media platform to take a dig at Ramdev for his controversial 'beheading' statement with some even comparing him to Taliban who are known for beheading their opponents

Arrey is desh mein kanoon hai, nahi toh teri ek ki kya, hum toh lakhon ki gardan kaat sakte hain (Some person wearing a cap stands up and says that he will not say Bharat Mata Ki Jai even if you decapitate him. Look, there is rule of law in this country, otherwise let alone one, we can behead lakhs)," Ramdev.

Yoga guru Ramdev's inflammatory remark, which was a veiled attack on AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi's recent remarks that he will not chant 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' even if a knife is put to his throat, just added more fire to the raging 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' controversy.
The comments drew sharp criticism from all corners, but the Twitter universe had something special in store for the yoga guru.

From stand-up comedians to Bollywood celebs, Twitterati took to the social media platform to take a dig at Ramdev for his controversial statement.
While some like Mumbai-based stand-up comedy group All India Bakchod and Twitter celeb Ramesh Srivats mocked Patanjali products, others like stand-up comedian Sahil Shah of East India Comedy fame compared him with Islamic extremists who also behead their captives.
