Referring to the report of a probe panel on the Wakf land controversy, Deshmukh said the report had neither mentioned him by name nor by designation.
"The report does not name me. Then on what basis is the Leader of Opposition levelling allegations against me," Deshmukh, who raised the issue through a point of propriety, said.
Kadam had yesterday demanded a CBI probe against Deshmukh saying the panel had blamed the former chief minister in the Wakf land scam. Deshmukh also sought to move a breach of privilege against Kadam.
Speaker Babasaheb Kupekar said the member had clarified his views and the subject could not be discussed further.
