Merchant Navy Captain Nalin B Pandey has been all over the world, but not to South Africa.
He hopes he'll visit the country soon, if not for sightseeing, then to meet the six security commandos who saved several lives at the Taj Mahal Hotel on November 26 last year.

"I can only recollect the name of Bob Nicholls, whose company was in charge of the security of the cancelled Champions League.

Though not obliged to protect a group of strangers, the six commandoes "kept reassuring the scared guests that no harm would befall them and if the need arose, they would fight terrorists with kitchen knives.

When the rescue team arrived at 3.30 am the next day, Nicholls first crosschecked their identities and only then opened the doors.
