Central Railway commuters had a horror time on Friday morning as services on the line were disrupted again after the soil below the tracks beside Ulhasnagar station got washed away leading to a crater-like formation.

The incident occurred around 6:40 in the morning following which trains on the Down line were suspended while those on the Up section were held up for nearly an hour.

Services were restored at around 9:15 am, but trains are running slowly.

On Tuesday as well, train services were hit on the Central line after an overhead wire snapped at Dadar.
