Even as the world struggles to come to terms with the Orlando killings at the favourite nightspot of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) community in Florida -- Pulse, Bollywood small time actress Kavita Radheshyam has courted controversy over the issue.

The animal cruelty activist, who has posed nude for the cause on social media site Facebook, posted a picture of herself on Facebook and Twitter with text that reads, "Felt Very Sad About Orlando Shooting... Aren't LGBT Against Nature? Whatever Is Against Nature, Shouldn't Live..."

This post generated a lot of traction, mostly negative, with Mr Gay World participants also commenting and slamming Radheshyam’s homophobic statement.
Igor Scheurkogel, the Asia Director of Mr Gay World commented on Facebook, posted on Facebook, "No matter the race, religion or gender we are all human and everyone has a right to existence and to be loved. You of all people should know better coming from a previous colonised country who was previously oppressed that we should not let this happen again. People lost their lives, family members. So maybe I should make a hashtag for #livewhite for western countries or maybe #livechristian. How would you like that? Artists and performers should be at the front of the line promoting human rights. This might be why you are standing in the back of the spotlight."
Not the one to stop, Radheshyam reposted her post and said, “Taking My Post Down Won't Change My Thoughts. Anything Against Nature Should Vanish Right? #OrlandoShooting #LGBT.”
Defending her actions, she said, “I am sad about the killings but I am against gays and lesbians. Their behaviour is not natural and it spreads HIV, AIDS and other STDs. This is Hindustan and not Gayisthan. If I was doing all this for publicity, I would have stripped again. This is what I feel and I am expressing my views freely.”
Radheshyam has worked in films like 'Paanch Ghantey Mien Paanch Crore', 'Om Allah', 'Souten – A New Threesome' and a multilingual film called 'Amma'.
She has been also called, 'The Indian Kim Kardashian'.
