It has been reported that in 2011 Rahul, 27, got engaged to Sheena in Dehradun. While Peter was present, Indrani wasn’t. Rahul, who was brought to Mumbai for the investigation, has told cops that after a while he stopped trying to find out where Sheena was because he received a message saying she had met someone else. The message reportedly read: “Please forget me as I have gone from your life with someone else”.
It seems that for a week after Sheena’s disappearance, Rahul would get text messages from Sheena’s number, allegedly from Indrani pretending to be Sheena. Police said that they have evidence which shows Indrani would tell everyone Sheena had moved to US with her “new partner”. She would add that Sheena didn’t want to share her contact details with anyone.
