The Anti-Human Trafficking cell, along with Navghar police, has arrested three women, including two Bangladeshi immigrants, for their alleged involvement in operating a sex racket.

The police have rescued one 17-year-old girl, who is the daughter of one of the accused. Lalita Mohan Jethwa (35), along with the immigrants, Raima Habibullah Chattar (39) and Momina Javed Hassan Shaikh (40) were operating from an apartment in New Golden Nest in Bhayandar (East), according to the tip-off received by the police.
The officials decided to lay a trap at Jai Mahal Hotel at 5 pm on Wednesday. The police posed as customers and entered the apartment. After making the deal, they arrested the accused red-handed, accepting cash.
