However, the police did not arrest him saying that the probe and statement recording process of railway authorities are underway.

Anita Patel committed suicide on Thursday afternoon in a toilet located in the Divisional Railway Manager's office in South Mumbai. No suicide note was found.

The probe into the case indicated that she was highly disturbed since she could not begin her work under Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sevak scheme due to administrative reasons. Hence, she wanted a refund of Rs 40,000 which she had paid to the railways, over a period of time.

Two years ago, she was selected as a Central Railways Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sevak, which authorised her to sell long distance train tickets, the police said. She had paid fees and completed other procedures to become an authorised railway ticket seller and for the past few months, she had been requesting railway authorities to refund her deposit, since she wanted to cancel her contract.

Her constant written communications to Kerry were also not fruitful. The victim had even clearly stated in one of her written communications to Kerry that she was fed up with delays in getting a refund, the police said.u00a0
