Qasab's DNA matches articles found on MV Kuber

However, Joint commissioner (crime) Rakesh Maria, denied media reports confirming his nationality. Maria told MiD DAY that the results of the blood sample taken for DNA examination is still awaited.


Maharashtra Home Minister Jayant Patil told a channel website that all the tests carried out to match the DNA with the samples found on the hijacked Kuber boat have turned out positive.


Home officials reveal that the test findings of Qasab's DNA will be incorporated in the chargesheet which will make the prosecution case stronger during trai to prove that Qasab was indeed present on Kuber.

On November 26 last year, 10 terrorists had used a boat named MV Kuber to travel from Karachi to Mumbai. Cops found a number of things on the boat which included, a flour packet, Medicam dental cream, Touch Me Shaving cream, a Mountain Dew soft drink bottle, all of which had Pakistan labels.

India had already shared the evidences of Mumbai attacks which also contains the DNA prints of all 10 terrorists and the log book recovered from MV Kuber.
