At MVM International School in Andheri West many students were very happy to be back. MVM reopened for Std VIII to Std XII after following SOPs as suggested by the government.

On Monday morning, students of MVM were welcomed by the school band playing. Every student was scanned by the automatic temperature checking machines and had to sanitise their hands before entering classrooms. The children were provided with a welcome kit, which had an MVM mask, a chocolate, and a welcome note. Teachers had beautifully decorated the campus.

Chairman Dilip Mulki said, “The institute has taken utmost care about  cleanliness. Posters to educate children about the coronavirus with Dos and Don’ts are displayed in all classrooms as well as across the campus. Sanitisers, too, are provided across the campus.”

As the students entered school, they were given basic instructions about the Dos and Don’ts and social distancing. “The institute has taken care about all precautionary actions for smooth functioning and uninterrupted studies. An emergency medical team is also present on campus. The school will deliver physical as well online learning so that no child misses out,” said KL Bangera , president of MVM School.

Nidhi Sonar, a Std X student said, “I am extremely happy to be back to school after almost 18 months. While our school had made the best arrangements for online classes, I think attending school on campus and interacting with teachers face-to-face is something I have been waiting for.”

Samruddhi More, also a Std X student said, “I cannot say how happy I am to be back. I have been waiting for this for months. Today we felt like VVIPs because we had a ‘red carpet’ welcome. I thank my teachers and the school management for this grand welcome.”
